Friends of UNH Women's Hockey Meeting Notes

Key actions:

 

1. Group agreed to loan Friends general funds to the Wall of Distinction account to make up the dollars needed to keep the project moving forward as proposed.           

2. Motion to purchase championship banners approved.

3. Group agreed to pursue the development of a scholarship fund/endowment

4. Bob Vincent was appointed promotions coordinator

5. Several changes to the bylaws were approved.

6. July  21 was set as the date to inventory unsold merchandise. 

7. Membership levels will remain the same for 2008-09.

8. Group will pursue joining with the men's team to co-host a season "start-up" event.

9. The agreed to investigate ways to provide transportation to senior citizens seeking at attend games.

10. The group agreed that Tara's still photographs were invaluable to the Friend's efforts and approved renewal of the SmugMug site.

11. Phil will report at the next meeting on the various efforts to promote the team and the Friend's group using social networking internet sites. The group will review these efforts and determine if additional policies are needed to regulate their usage.

12. The group expressed interest in hosting a golf tournament to raise funds in 2009.

13. No dates for receptions were set pending coordination with the Universities sports marketing department
