DURHAM — With its leading scorer off playing for Canada in the Four Nations Cup and one of its five defenders ruled medically ineligible minutes before game time, the University of New Hampshire women's hockey team faced an up-ice challenge against Boston University Thursday, the team that handed the Wildcats their only loss of the season just a week ago in Beantown.. - More

The Friends of UNH Women's Hockey established the "Wall of Distinction" as its primary project for the 2007-08 season. The purpose of the wall is to permanently honor past and future players who are recognized as among the elite athletes of their era. 

We are very close to our financial goal to enable construction at the Whittemore center to begin.  So we are asking for a little more help from friends and alumni to put us over the top. Thanks to many generous contributors we are just $1,000 short of making the Wall a reality. So with one final push we should make it.
